A recent article posted on PitchCare.com included several paragraphs about Zeon Zoysia, the turfgrass cultivar chosen to grass the fairways and tees for the 2016 Olympics golf course in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Touted as dense and drought tolerant, with low fertilizer requirements, Zeon was planted as sod, primarily in large rolls, supplied by Green Grass Brazil.
